Getting to Know Us

I guess everyone likes to get to know who, they are doing business with, so I’d like to tell you a little about us. I am Florence Billett and the other gal is Sue Gallagher. We are sisters, from a family of four girls, (our poor Dad never got the bathroom). I am the oldest, and Sue is #3, the other girls have gone their own way, but Sue and I seem to spend a lot of time together.

Sue is single and lives in Florence, Oregon and I am a widow and live in Prescott Valley, Arizona, but we manage to get together to go places.

Probably our most fun adventure was working as bus tour guides in Ketchikan, Alaska for Princess Cruises. We were there for about 3 months. We learned so much and loved being there. Sue enjoyed it so much, she drove the Alcan Highway to Anchorage to work the next year. I drove up later, but didn’t work. But it paid off, the company gave her a discounted cruise for two on space available. We had our eye on the Panama Canal, and the day the Iraq War started, we were sailing. So many passengers had canceled to our benefit.

Copper Canyon and Cabo del San Lucas, Mexico, Hawaii, Germany, and all over the States, are some of our destinations. We especially like Vancouver Island and Victoria British Columbia, and it’s fairly close.

Get Up and Go Gals was Sue's idea an affordable Bed and Breakfast Travel Club for women over 40. We are now working together and will soon have an up-graded web site. Sue came up with Go Gals Travel and we are very excited to offer you, the trip to Leavenworth, WA, and know we will have lots of fun.
